Dr. Amanda J. Bilyk, a licensed Acupuncture Physician and Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM), is a vital part of the Blue Ridge Brain Center team.
With certifications from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and expertise in injection therapy, Dr. Bilyk’s integrative approach enhances BRBC's brain mapping and training services. Her deep understanding of both Eastern and Western medical traditions allows her to craft tailored treatments for patients experiencing neurocognitive and emotional challenges, including anxiety, depression, and neurodegenerative conditions.
Dr. Bilyk’s journey into alternative medicine started in her youth, when she learned traditional remedies from her family and continued through her apprenticeships in Appalachian and Amazonian medicine. Her extensive international experience studying the spiritual roots of disease and working with Indigenous healers informs her holistic approach at BRBC. She collaborates with medical specialists to bridge the gap between modern medical practices and Eastern therapies, offering patients a comprehensive and compassionate path to mental and physical well-being.
